Design Around Your Cushion Cut Diamond

Cushion cut diamonds come in square and elongated shapes. Square cuts have balanced proportions, while elongated cuts can make the finger appear longer.

Their rounded corners work particularly well with vintage styles. In custom halo engagement rings, smaller diamonds can follow the centre stone's shape.

If you prefer a subtler look, a hidden halo adds small diamonds beneath the centre stone. Alternatively, custom trilogy engagement rings can pair a cushion cut with two half moon diamonds. Their curved edges sit naturally beside the centre stone.

When choosing your diamond, also consider its proportions and how it reflects light. Two stones with the same carat weight can look quite different, so seeing them in person can help you decide.
